Chocolate Pudding Pie

This is a dessert that the women in my Mom's family have made for years. A definite favorite. Quinton would request this as his birthday cake.

2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 c. margarine (or butter)

Mix together in a medium bowl. For a better crust, combine together with a pastry cutter. Press into a 9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Look for the edges to just start to turn golden. Cool crust.

Pressed Crust.

Perfectly Baked.

8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
12 oz. cool whip, separated

Cream your cream cheese and powdered sugar. Fold in 2/3 of the cool whip container.

1 large pkg. pudding

You can use any flavor of pudding you like. I almost always use chocolate, but that's me. Make according to directions.

To assemble the pie. Be sure the crust is cool. Layer on the cream cheese filling, then the pudding and top with remaining cool whip. You can then top with nuts, M&M, chocolate shavings, or a chopped up Scor Bar.

Assembled layers: crust, filling, pudding, cool whip.
