Chicken Curry

This is a super easy recipe and yummy. About halfway through you may have your doubts but by the end it smells delish.

Ingredients:
4 slices bacon
1/4 c. sliced celery
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 T. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. water
1/2 c. applesauce
3 T. tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
2 tsp. chicken bouillon powder or chicken base
3 c. cubed cooked chicken
Cooked rice (I use a mixture of 1/2 normal rice, 1/2 jasmine rice)

Optional Toppings: raisins, shredded coconut, green peppers, etc.


Directions:
Cook bacon til crisp in large frying pan. Remove bacon and cook celery, onion & garlic in bacon drippings. Crumble bacon. Blend in flour. Stir in milk, water, applesauce, tomato paste, curry, & bouillon. Cook & stir until thickened and bubbly. Stir in chicken & bacon and heat through. Serve over rice.

Everything I've read on here sounds SOOOO good!!! Does anyone have any freezer friendly dinner ideas? I find that our family eats out when we both come home from work and are too tired to make something from scratch. Please HELP!!!
